The extraordinarily beautiful Amber will suit all wardrobes of fashion styles colours and tastes. There are over one hundred natural colours of Baltic Amber with even more hues and shades. At Art Vetus, we carefully select the raw Amber and create pieces of jewellery and artefacts to correspond best. The eldest of all organic gems in the world. It is merely solidified, not fossilized resin of Proto-Scandivian conifer trees from about forty million years ago. It is called Electron in ancient Greek and Succinum in Latin, meaning "The Attractive" and "The Juicy". Some three millennia ago, it "attracted" civilization and economic development throughout North Alpine Europe, and users were delighted and are still delighted with its juicy colours and besides the non-aesthetic properties exclusive to Baltic Amber. Mined, fished, and collected in Lithuania, on the doorstep of Art Vetus Amber Design Workshops in Klaipeda.
